SUMMER 2012 CLASS SCHEDULE

WEEKLY CLASSES

Gentle Yoga Slowly warm and stretch your body with simple but effective standing, seated and supine poses. Improve balance, flexibility and mobility.

Basic Yoga This class is appropriate for beginners or those looking for a basic practice. We will explore the fundamentals of yoga, while increasing energy, strength and flexibility. 

Level 1 This is a step up from our Basic class and suitable for beginners with various modifications offered.  Each class will include breath work in addition to the physical practice of building strength, balance and flexibility.

All Levels* This class will address various levels of yoga and adapt to students' needs.  You will receive further experience and refinement as you explore the possibilities of exploring your practice.  This may include a deeper holding of postures to explore sensation as well as more advanced postures, breath control and meditation.

Level 2** In this class we will combine a variety of posture flows (vinyasa) while exploring more advanced asana (poses) such as arm balancing and inversions.  Bring your curiousity and patience and anything is possible!

Detox** An hour of vigorious vinyasa yoga designed to release the harmful toxins that build up in the body from the hectic work week.  You will feel cleansed and ready for your weekend.

Community Join us for a general yoga practice taught by a different WCYC instructor each week.  Only a $5 Drop-In fee (sorry, no class cards) so bring a friend!!
