WEEKLY CLASSES

Gentle Kripalu Yoga Slowly warm and stretch your body with simple but effective standing, seated and reclining poses.  Improve balance, flexibility and mobility.

Basic Kripalu Yoga This class is appropriate for beginners or those looking for a basic practice.  We will explore the fundamentals of yoga, while increasing energy, strength and flexibility.

Level 1 Kripalu Yoga This is a step up from our Basic class and suitable for beginners and all levels of practice with various modifications offered.
Vinyasa Basics* Go with the flow in this class designed to help you explore the foundations of a vinyasa practice. Vinyasa means "breath synchronized movement" and uses the classic sun salutation as a launching point for movement exploration. It will encourage you to deepen your practice and explore various modifications to enrich your experience.

All Levels* This class will address various levels of yoga and adapt to students' needs. You will receive further experience and refinement as you explore the possibilities of deepening your practice.

Level 2** In this class we will combine a variety of posture flows while exploring other more “interesting” asanas.  There are variations of every pose to suit different bodies and different degrees of experience.  Bring your curiosity and patience, and anything is possible!

Rest and Renew  Offered on the first Friday of every month. This extremely gentle practice will balance and restore you after a long busy week. Appropriate for all fitness levels and all levels of experience. Beginners welcome and encouraged!! Come and unwind before the weekend starts.

Yoga for Pain Relief This practice incorporates Integrated Positional Therapy within a yoga practice to relieve pain in specific parts of the body. Less of a meditative practice and more functional work to improve posture and improve overall quality of life. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Each month addresses a different issue (low back, shoulders, e.g.), see website for more details.

Community Yoga Join us for a general yoga practice taught by a different WCYC yoga teacher each week.  Only $5 drop-in fee (sorry, no class cards).  Bring a friend!
