Restorative Yoga Workshop
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 20

$25 in advance/$30 at the door

 Spend an afternoon in restorative bliss as you are led in simple flowing movements and then guided into completely supported postures that will release the mind, body, and spirit. The practice of Restorative Yoga is deeply healing, allowing every system of the body to come back into balance. Suitable for students looking for relief from chronic pain, managing chronic illness, or looking to get away from it all! Come in loose comfortable clothes and bring a favorite blanket. Space is limited.

WEEKLY CLASSES



Gentle Kripalu Yoga Slowly warm and stretch your body with simple but effective standing, seated and reclining poses.  Improve balance, flexibility and mobility. This class is "senior body friendly" and appropriate for those recovering from injuries as well as offering profound relief from the effects of stress.


Kripalu Yoga Foundations This class is appropriate for beginners or those looking for a basic practice.  We will explore the fundamentals of yoga, while increasing energy, strength and flexibility. Different experiences are offered every week, all with a focus on enhancing the mind body connection.






Yoga Dance Fusion: Let Your Yoga Dance Let Your Yoga Dance with a FUN fusion of yoga and movement. Explore yoga in a whole different way! Free movement, great music, laughter and JOY!! No yoga or dance experience is necessary!

 

All Levels This class will address various levels of yoga and adapt to students' needs. You will receive further experience and refinement as you explore the possibilities of deepening your practice.



Relax and Renew  Offered on the first Friday of every month. This extremely gentle practice will balance and restore you after a long busy week. Appropriate for all fitness levels and all levels of experience. Beginners welcome and encouraged!! Come and unwind before the weekend starts.

Restorative Yoga (returns in the fall) Give your mind complete rest with Just a few completely supported floor based poses each week. The practice of Restorative Yoga is deeply healing, allowing every system of the body to come back into balance. Suitable for students looking for relief from chronic pain, managing chronic illness, or looking to get away from it all!



Yoga for Low Back Pain (returns in the fall)  This practice incorporates Integrated Positional Therapy within a yoga practice to relieve low back pain. Less of a meditative practice and more functional work to improve posture and improve overall quality of life. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. 

Community Yoga (returns in the fall)  Join us for a general yoga practice taught by a different WCYC yoga teacher each week.  Only $5 drop-in fee (sorry, no class cards).  Bring a friend!
